STRESS & FOOD

Ok, so today is another survey. I guess I am just a very curious person-- but that's a healthy stress. (I assume, anyway.) I love asking questions and I love when people take the time to answer them honestly. Thanks!

1. Do you eat more, less or the same when you are more stressed?
2. What foods are you most likely to eat when under stress?
3. Are there any foods that seem to relieve stress for you?
4. What foods might make you more stressed?

  1. Okay--

    1. It depends on what kind of stress. If it's "I'm really busy stress" I typically eat less or the same amount (until I'm starving). If it's emotional stress--if I'm happy it's typically the same. If I'm unhappy--I may eat more. Just depends.

    2. Chocolate

    3. Chocolate :)

    4. Probably spicy--or anything that will set of my IBS (there are certain foods I always avoid--but sometimes it does not matter--all foods will set it off).

  2. I starve myself if I get too stressed or if it's something I can't do anything to change it. I guess I figure for me it's better to try not to exist then to have to deal with thing I can't change... (Funny that's when I end up having to get a blessing to help myself let go of the problem!)
If I think I can do something about it then I usually have a friend over and eat some good ice cream (with no chemicals in it) maybe other yummy fats and talk it out and figure out how I'm going to change it.
Fatty Foods are good for your brain. And so I figure getting the extra fats and the extra brain power from someone else then we will be able to fix it a lot better! :)
